The rotorhead used for the prototype is an evolution of the four-cantilevered layout patented by a technical university in Germany for the ease with which it can be assembled.
Its elegant construction has been included in a square frame to make it more practical altogether. The basis of UK design number 6145740 and pitched to revolution.aero, it was also test-flown with a previous prototype in December of 2021:
Whilst able to support eight or more motors, the prototype is designed as a quad to prove the practicality of suspending a passenger by means of a flat-packed airframe... IKEA to go!
