Between 2018 and 2020 Colin Hilton built numerous drones with colleagues and flew a number prior to exhibiting one at a challenge occuring at NASA Ames at the end of the period. Lessons learned convinced him to apply similar methodology to drones within a less crowded and regulated market-place.
